Concept statement: Exploring how light and depth affect color chroma through an interactive display.

During my first semester at design school, I explored how light reacts to materials. Create an immersive experience embracing the harmony of color and light that includes an interactive aspect. This is a study of the impact of depth and light on color chroma.

The audience can recognize the relationship between color chroma and the external variables that are altering the chroma. This project has two main purposes. One is to perform a study on how light and depth impact the color intensity of each colored rod. Through the phenomenon of total internal reflection, discovered how the color displayed from the front of the rod. Another purpose is to create an immersive experience for the audience. I wanted the participants to feel a part of the experience by being able to adjust portions of it and come to their conclusions about color and light.
